"... in some sense, I'm still in advertising, suspending disbelief and turning things on their head. Only this time, I'm doing it in the service of comfort and joy." - Nancy Gershman
DreamScape by Artist Nancy Gershman |
Ms. Gershman is a third generation painter. Unlike her Viennese father and grandmother, she is the first to dip into a digital tool box, and the first to do Art For Your Sake, and not my own. She opened Art For Your Sake in 2004 as a mecca for shutter-buggers seeking that One Perfect Photo, and found that your photos just floor me ..,
She was previously in advertising, and in some sense, is still in advertising, suspending disbelief and turning things on their head. Only this time, she is doing it in the service of comfort and joy.
The Interview will be a blend of Ms. Gershmans, Artistry and how it relates to Genealogy. Aptly called "Healing Dreamscapes," her photo-montages look like a snapshot from a dream. Perhaps most precious of all is the oral history and poetry her work engenders in those who receive her gifts. Nancy Gershman can be reached at 773-255-4677 or email Nancy Gershman . You can visit her online portfolio at Art For Your Sake.
If you have questions, call or email (before the show), to ask Ms. Gershman Questions, please email: ntawls@gmail.com, or call (877) 516-6887, during the broadcast (April 11, 2011, 7:00 pm (pst); or follow this link for more information: Anita Talks Genealogy.
